Unfortunately we need roleplay rules so here it is:
About applications:
Sadly we need these, if your character is a huge blue fox with huge teeth, blue skin and gills called Kisame we might be reluctant to let him in due to problems with godmoding (or is it Powerplaying?).
Godmoding and Powerplaying
This is when your character is invincible, if a fight breaks out you are going to get hit at some stage. Everyone has a weakness, if you look at an anime or whatever you'll almost always notice some form of weakness, for example Kakashi from Naruto, when he uses the Sharingan it really tires him out.
There is also controlling someone else's character, you CANNOT do this, heres a right and wrong example of a roleplay:
Wrong:
P1: A small orange fox named Johnny is sunning himself on a rock hidden between bushes, he yawns contently and soon begins to drift off to sleep in the sunshine.
P2: A large black fox stalks through the bushes teeth showing in a ferocious snarl. Sighting Johnny he leaps for the small fox and takes him between his jaws ending the youngsters life in seconds.
P1: (their character is now dead and so can do nothing)
Right:
P1: A small orange fox named Johnny is sunning himself on a rock hidden between bushes, he yawns contently and soon begins to drift off to sleep in the sunshine.
P2: A large black fox stalks the trees a snarl, sighting Johnny he growls fiercely and leaps at the young fox.
P1: Johnny having heard the black fox jumps up in fright and runs for his life.
ECT
Now Johnny is still alive, therefor the roleplay can continue, if P1 wanted their character killed however he/she could have let Johnny die but its much more fun if our poor example fox Johnny lives to see another day.
Length
A rule of roleplay is a post must be three lines long not three sentences. A simple post like 'Johnny yawns' or 'Johnny says "Hi my name is Johnny' is not a post, it is a fragment of a post.
Some people like to write VERY LONG posts a couple of paragraphs (I used to be guilty of this xD ) and thats good, but not expected you should at least try to write one paragraph per post, however if your characters are having a conversation it is understandable if the posts are short, after all all your character can do it talk and very little else.
Spelling
Okay please check your spelling if you know your not too good at it, it is okay to make the odd typo (I know I do) but if you 'tlk liek dis' people might not be able to understand you. Also please refrain from using 'u' as 'you' and the like, 'u' is a letter it is a not a word, on its own it doesn't mean anything.
Character Rules
We have character applications because we may have restrictions on certain things.
For example if your fox is bright purple with red polka dots, has huge bat wings and is the size of a car you probably won't be allowed to roleplay it here XD
Foxes do come in a range of colors though, orange, rust, red, white/cream/silver/blue, brown and black, with white, black and brown markings, they are not bright pink.
Foxes also are not the size of a two story building, a fox is a small creature, the size of a cat or small dog some are bigger then others and some are smaller but they do not grow to enormous sizes.
